Double exposure tips

Basically this is what I have learned from double exposing with a 35mm camera.

1. UNDEREXPOSE! this is really important, underexpose on the first time you shoot and on the second time. e.g if using 100iso film shoot at 200iso, 200iso use 400 etc.

2. Avoid shooting dark blacks or bright whites.

3. First time shoot darker things avoid flash, shooting at night is good.

4. Second time still underexpose but can use flash avoid shooting bright skies.

5. When the film is finished try and leave a bit of film sticking out so you can shoot over it a second time.
